Folex. I have a light colored berber carpet. My husband likes to refill his own ink for the printer. Yep, you guessed it, drops of blue, and yellow ink on the carpet. Managing Dust
We live in the country. There is ALWAYS dust. Use a QUALITY feather duster to keep up (look at the Clean Team website). Start high and work down. Every once in awhile go outside and shake the dust out of the duster. Some feel that dust is a protective cover for their furniture, but when it gets thicker than a feather duster will tackle, take a Mystic Maid (found in specialty kitchen shops, about $12.00 but will last forever) cloth and make it ever so slightly damp. That dust will be history. Rinse when necessary.
Faux plants
Do you forget to water your plants? Or maybe you over-water? If you have a black thumb, consider “faux” plants, which look like the real thing. Spend the money on GOOD QUALITY faux plants or flowers. Try just one (check on the store’s return policy). You will save time (not having to water, clean up messes, etc), and you will save money (no more plant or flower replacements, fertilizer, etc.). Good quality “faux” is the key. If you only like “the real thing”, showcase one or two of those and the rest faux. No one will know the difference, especially if the faux are up high and the real ones are at eye level.
